Stasia Humphreys is a Postural Alignment Specialist certified by The Egoscue University. She found the Egoscue Method after two years of suffering chronic neck, back, and shoulder pain. She unsuccessfully tried to alleviate her pain with acupuncture, massage, physical therapy, chiropractic work, muscle relaxers, NSAIDS and more. These therapies helped reduce the pain for short periods but weren’t long-term solutions.
Through the Egoscue Method Stasia learned the root of her pain was compensation and dysfunction throughout the body! The solution was simple and easy: “I needed to retrain my muscles to perform the functions they were designed to perform. I never thought doing such simple exercises for a short period each day could have such an incredible impact on reducing and then eliminating the chronic pain I’d endured for years. I’ve even started running again without the knee pain and shin splints I used to experience.”
Having such success with her own body, Stasia now shares her understanding of pain-free living through her specialties in postural alignment.
